Regarding buses and GPS

What would be more exciting is ensuring that a screen is available at every bus shelter to show buses that are approaching that stop.

 

Because... not everyone has a smart phone. And not everyone has a lot of credit to be using data on their phone. And you know, sometimes the battery is flat.

But as I said to a friend, hurry up and put it on all the buses.

Anyway, patrons will then be able to see where all the Glider buses are on the Translink website.

Honestly, it should be on all the buses so I can just type in the routes I want to see and go to a map to see where they are. It is not that difficult!!!

Finally, 24 hour postal service for Brisbane

Apparently Australia Post will open 30 "superstores" some which will have 24/7 zones (I guess some area outside that you can access??) They will include self serve booths where you can buy stamps, weigh parcels etc yourself. AP will also be considering requests from franchisees to extend trading hours.

In 2004 on this date I started at my current organisation. I have achieved much, made friends and enemies and have been given some fantastic opportunities.

Nordic GOMA sessions soon

Just saw in the newspaper that GOMA is running free Nordic directors season, apparently "engaging and unconventional works". Running until 18 April. I guess details would be on the GOMA website.
