Plasticine modelling

Well here is my inaugural blog post. What's to be happy about? Getting my hands back into modelling. This is only in plasticine, and a bit of a warm up. Although in the past weeks I have also been working some physio putty (not so good as it is runny and you can't keep any shapes made!) The idea is to build a proper clay garden gnome soon, based on this maquette.

I also spent a lot of time doodling, sketching in various notebooks (pencil) for more warm up. I'll be away soon and intend to do ink drawing postcards to send to friends. Wonder how that will go, drawing on the run!
