Tea Time

Can you imagine my great delight when I found Coles had decided to bring in new stock of Twinings infusions. For a great while they had scaled back to only the lemon, ginger, mint varieties. The Blackcurrant black tea had also gone.

I have a fondness for red teas. I have a standard supply of Tasty's Rosehip and where possible, any other kind of red, rosy tea. Hibiscus, strawberries, raspberries, forest berries, cranberries... I have them with honey. But mostly I like to see the red eek out of the bag or the strainer, inking the water and settling into a density in the bottom of the cup.

A long time ago, my favourite was Natureland's cherry tea, but that was another age, in the 90s.

Another thing I love is Turkish apple tea.

I just got rung up and offered a lift down to the shops. LP is so sweet (thanks LP!!). I said I'd be interested next time.
