Addictions. Deviances. Illnesses. Disorders. Extra fingers. So you basically tick the box for anything that's part of you.
You fill in a section of your opinions of all those things and how much you want it to play as part of your relationship:
Suicide:
How much I know about it:
Greatly
Partially
Minimally
How much I tolerate it in a relationship:
I can't stand it
You can have tendencies but not serious thoughts
I don't mind it but its worrying
Its fine by me
etc
Why?
Because its a bloody minefield using the dating sites that exist, and having to read between the lines or find out for yourself... or if its you, then trying to find a way to divulge it and find out if the person you are interested in can understand and cope with these things, or even like them.. or should I say, like you despite them. We don't want to date any suicide fetishists... do we?
So while the mainstream dysfunctions are hard coded in for ease of selection, there would also be the capacity for the user to note anything else they want to share.
"Hello... I have a life expectancy of 24 months... seeking someone with roughly the same..."
Really... a site for anyone that finds mainstream dating hard because their situation is judged badly by mainstream folk.
Why do I call it Deviant Dating... well it's like a road... if people like us can't travel by the highway cos its not working, then we gotta take a deviation. We still wanna go where we intended to go. Why give in?
So what kind of things do I have a problem telling new partners, or even new friends? Well, the day I can log on to such a site with my pseudonym, I'll happily tick a few boxes and let people know.
