I thought I would add a pic of the things I got off my boss from her holidays (we always buy little souvenirs for each other) mentioned in another post.
I received a blooming, dark red rose yesterday and now it is at work on my desk, tied with pink ribbon. In a Schweppes bottle.
I have strawberries today and have found a great secret delight in crunching the seeds between my teeth. Fragola.
I got comment today about how nice the colour of my nail polish is.
I sent a parcel to my aunt.
Found exquisite square stamps featuring corals from the Cocos Islands - can't wait to use them on postcards to friends, they are just soooo eye catching.
Debated cherry vs gooseberry/lemon jam from Poland. (Gooseberry won).
My mind, my heart, my tastebuds are alive.
And ANOTHER GIFT! This one is from JJ - he sent me an art and gallery magazine from the States and I have been poring through it while walking back to work. It was a surprise. Thanks to JJ.
