I got to work and was told there was an urgent meeting and when I got there it was my birthday cake and present. The cake was shaped like a painter palette with blobs of paint on it and an easel that said Happy Birthday. Then my gift was a picture that everyone had helped paint - each team member had added something memorable about themselves onto it. It is so touching, I am having a teary moment right now.
Also, this morning my friend L and I had a quick pancake session. She reminded me I had my Happy Birthday sign in my bag (last week it had come with a cake that my friends P and A had brought from Bread Top) so we stuck the sign on the pancakes and had a photo session.
Looking at the painting makes me laugh. I don't know if they intentionally wanted to paint things that remind me of them.
